The Righteous Branch

5 “Look, days are coming,” declares[a] Yahweh,
    “when I will raise up for David a righteous branch,
and he will reign as king, and he will achieve success,
    and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.
6 In his days Judah will be saved,
    and Israel will dwell in safety,[b]
and this is his name by which he will be called:
    ‘Yahweh is our righteousness.’

7 “Therefore[c] look, days are coming,” declares[d] Yahweh, “when they will no longer say, ‘As Yahweh lives,[e] who led up the Israelites[f] from the land of Egypt,’
